YouTube users by age and gender

  •  The 25-34 age group is the biggest chunk of YouTube users, with 9.4% of women and 12.1% of men. This makes them the most active group on the platform

  • Next up is the 18-24 age group, which is the second most active, with 6.7% of female users and 9% of male users

  • In every age group, there are more male YouTube users than female. The biggest difference is in the 18-24 and 25-34 age groups, where there are 2.3% and 2.7% more males than females, respectively

  • Overall, across all age groups, there are consistently more male users than female, suggesting that YouTube tends to attract slightly more men in most age brackets

What are the biggest YouTube channels?

  •  T-Series is ahead with 238.9 billion total views and 11.9 million average views per video

  • Cocomelon - Nursery Rhymes stands out with a high average of 165.4 million views per video, even though it has fewer total views (175.7 billion) than T-Series

  • Kids’ content is very popular, with channels like Kids Diana Show and Like Nastya getting average views of 86 million and 111.9 million per video

  • SET India is third in total views with 156.4 billion, but its average views per video are lower at 1.2 million. This means they have a lot of content, but each video doesn’t get as many views as some other top channels

  • WWE has 81 billion views, but only 1.1 million views per video on average, similar to channels like Sony SAB and Zee TV. This suggests they upload a lot, but not every video gets the same attention

  • Vlad and Niki and Like Nastya, both kids' channels, have really high engagement, with average views per video at 130.5 million and 111.9 million, showing how strong kids' content is on YouTube

  • Movieclips has a solid 60.7 billion total views with an average of 1.5 million views per video, which is pretty typical for entertainment channels

  • Ryan's World, another kids' channel, is doing great with 56.6 billion total views and 21.5 million average views per video

  • The channels with the lowest average views per video among the top 20 are ABS-CBN Entertainment and Har Pal Geo, with just 0.2 million and 0.4 million views per video, even though they have tens of billions in total views
